Benjamin is a Senior Manager at the Building and Construction Authority in Singapore. Previously a member of the RICS Singapore national advisory board and a current Licensed Assessor Trainer for the ASEAN region. He also chaired the WorldGBC Rating Tools Task Group from 2013 to 2015.
Benjamin is a multi-disciplinary professional – architecturally trained, a qualified town planner and a chartered planning and development surveyor. He has worked in both public and private sectors delivering a wide range of projects from sensitive conservation projects in the UK to schools, senior care centres and aviation fuel storage facilities in Singapore.
Within the public sector he championed and developed standards for the environmental performance of buildings and districts and is working on the drive towards net zero carbon developments.
He holds Accreditations with BOA, RIBA, MRICS, C.Env, GMM, GMP, BREEAM and AP.
He was elected to RICS Governing Council member holding the Urbanisation/Planning Strategy Seat.
He is a Licensed Assessor Trainer (ASEAN), APC Assessor / Chairman (All APC pathways including SPR) and a Singapore Board Member.
He has also been active with Singapore Institute of Architects (SIA), World Green Building Council and Singapore Green Building Council.
