Keith Agar FRICS

Keith is the Programme Leader for MSc Real Estate, MSc International Real Estate Investment & Finance, MSc Planning & Development; MSc Corporate Real Estate and MSc Residential Property within The School of Architecture Design & the Built Environment at Nottingham Trent University.

Keith’s teaching is informed by extensive practice experience as a Chartered Surveyor (FRICS) working in the industrial, office and residential markets in London and the Midlands. He is a qualified teacher (PGCHE), a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and a Member of the Institute of Leadership and Management (MinstLM).

Specialties: Asset management, commercial valuation, agency and landlord & tenant law. Also has extensive experience in the field of residential survey & valuation.

A member of RICS Governing Council, a Trustee of the RICS, a time-served former member of the RICS East Midlands Regional Board and an Assessor for the RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).

An External Examiner for BA(Hons) Property Management & Development at the University of Greenwich.

A time-served former Councillor for a large parish in Nottinghamshire and Vice Chairman of Planning & Environment standing committee.
