Kimberly joined Transport for London in 2014 as an apprentice quantity surveyor and completed her Level 3 BTEC in Construction Technology and the Built Environment in 2016. She then went on to complete her BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying at London South Bank University which she graduated with a First-Class in 2019.
During this time, she spent 5 years gaining hands-on commercial experience and growing her technical skillset across the business. She has worked on many major infrastructure projects in London, including the Northern Line Extension at Battersea Power Station. She is highly self-motivated and passionate about the industry, and giving back has always been an important part of her career.
She is recognised as a strong ambassador for apprenticeships for her organisation and her profession, having been selected as the first apprentice to join the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) Matrics UK Board.
Positive role modelling and making a difference is at the heart of Kimberly’s work ethic. She has been presented with several awards and commendations including: inaugural Apprentice of the Year by RICS (2017) and highly commended in real estate, infrastructure and construction by Women of the Future Awards (2018).
